Wow, this is amazing. I'm looking around for Phoenix Tattoos, for the 'right' one, you know, and this one just has a couple of really powerful things about it for me- namely, the overall cross shape and the lightening-like impression of the smaller lines around the darker (I'm not sure whether that is part of the tattoo design or simply a drop shadow, but it works for me!). Thanks for the ideas!

I'm thinking about getting this as a tattoo design for my back.
I think the spine part would be great if it followed all the way from the top of the back to the bottom.
