How common is it to have stones crack if you bake them with polyclay? Incidentally, your work is lovely and that color combination is top notch!

Not all stones can be cooked. Some are fragile as amazonite, selenite and others.I use stones that do not get ruined in the kitchen.Just consider that minerals, such as quartz crystals are naturally formed at a temperature seven, eight, times higher than that of the cooking in the oven.Considers that the polymer clay bakes at 130 degrees.Until now I have never had experience of breaking stones.Thank you very much, I'm glad that my creations you like them!
