Having played a bit with his newfound friend, Alfred realized he was addicted to the severed head. After all, random body parts are VERY easy to get addicted to. Alfred had been having these... urges lately. Perhaps, he should've felt more disgusted with himself for even thinking about such a thing but...
The idea was so tempting.
Alfred was pretty sure that necrophilia was frowned upon in America but he figured that since he was a hero they wouldn't mind if he bent the rules just a tad.
After all, he and Severed Head shared a special bond; a bond that had been born the moment he had detached it from the body. He had maybe drunk a little too much beer with Prussia and Denmark before the three of them had staggered over to the nearest cemetery and dug up one of the freshly buried bodies.
America reasoned, in his drunken stupor, that the head was most likely very lonely and depressed and just wanted someone to be with.
Looking back on it America wasn't sure how the head had become detached from the rest of the body. Though, he suspected that Prussia had stolen one of the arms while Denmark had made off with the leg.
And they said he was weird.
What did America like about Severed Head?
Well, he liked waking up in the morning to the stench of decay and death. He liked to gaze into the milky, white eyes of Severed Head as he lay on the pillow beside him. But most of all, he liked how Severed Head just listened to what he had to say and how he never questioned Alfred about anything.
That's right Severed Head was always there for him, silent and selfless.
What Alfred liked best was that when Severed Head became a little bit too smelly and rotten, all he had to do was drive to a graveyard and get another one.
[I hope you liked that... sorry, if I offended anyone with the mention of the dead being unburied.]
