Description
Magic class? Icarus hadn’t really thought about magic in a long time. He never really saw it around the Nook, for a good reason, but even then he was always invested in the physical aspects of the world. Wyngros and hard work and keeping clean, those had been his priorities to keep track of. Magic though, that opened up new possibilities he hadn’t considered.
Upon hearing he would have to return to the Nook every day, he wasn’t all that thrilled. Only having one wyngro around that didn’t expect him to communicate back much had been a luxury compared to all the noisy rambunctious children. At least she would return for him though so he wouldn’t have to spend too long there. Though one of her requests while he was there surprised him somewhat. He could understand the eating part, and chances were he wouldn’t have the energy to fight someone even if he wanted to, but making friends? That was the last thing he wanted to do. The thoughts were crowding back in, but he tried turning his focus to one of the topics that had piqued his interest. Upon agreeing to the terms with a nod, he took the moment to ask about magic. He watched Baste’s face light up as he actively initiated a conversation and showed interest in something. The only thing he felt was an instant pang of regret, as the thought of his question leading her to believe he was more open to talking now crossed his mind. She brought him a book talking about various magics and their abilities, as well as blank paper.
He skimmed through the pages looking at the various magics, taking note of the earth and light magic. Dragging out crayons that were just about a part of any wyngling’s belongings, he doodled familiar faces and the magics’ symbols. Baste was able to catch a couple of glimpses towards his drawing as he worked, an orange biped, purple biped, and yellow wyngling, but he guarded the image too closely to see details. He had managed to finish his picture by bed, and he tucked it away inside the book for safe keeping. Like most nights, we was unable to sleep for much of it, but his mind was swarming with magic and the thoughts of locating those that had departed, rather than the ones of regret.
