I see way too many fanarts for the most popular characters and even now I am desperately waiting for a Yuugi figure from Kotabukiya. They even brought Yami no Malik, Malik and Yami no Bakura! Why not Yuugi?! I have Jounouchi next to my Yuugi (Furyu/Jamma) figure, but the scale is different and I wanted to have two figures that go with each other. Both fugures are nicely done, but the surfaces are slightly different. Jou is shiny while Yuugi is mat. There seem to be only two figures for Yuugi on the whole market and one for Jounouchi. Most people absolutely don't care for Yuugi. It's still shocking to me that after 20 years there are still people who don't understand that Yuugi and Atem are two seperate persons.
Like, I was seriously told that there was merchandise for Yuugi and the merchant simply showed me the Atem/Yami figure.
The funny thing is that those two fgures for Yuugi are super cheap. Like, I got my figure for 12€ while the Atem figure costs more than ten times the price. The last time I checked the Atem figure was 160€, the Kaiba one over 300€.
Even the YuGiOh! cards you can buy in the store say "Yuugi Mutou" and it's obviously not Yuugi but Atem. Damn it... poor babe. When will people finally appreciate Yuugi as much as he deserves?

He looks sexy. I also understand your point about the merchandise situation. Most of the keychains have Atem on it, although they have "Yuugi" in the tags. It's kind of confusing and misleading, since it becomes all the more harder to find what you're looking for. Well, at least we have fanart for him. It's nice to see this old sketch finally finished! <3

Oh, my gosh, he looks so cute in your style! I can't take it! The lower half of the legs are a bit short, but everything else looks good. I always loved how you would draw his hair, and his eyes always look so gorgeous~ I personally love his expression. He looks like he's trying to seduce someone. Hmm...

There needs to be more things like this! There needs to be more Yugi merch too! When you look up Yugi Muto merch, it shows Yami/Atemu and it's like NO, they are two different characters!! Come on people!!

Dude I wish there were more Yugi figures! I love Yami I do. Buuuuuuut can’t we get some Yugi theme things as well? Yugi is the king of games after all!!
I have three Yugi figures. When I see something with Yugi’s face. I buy pfft. I seen more Atem/Yami things tho. But I rarely buy them because I personally love Yugi more than Yami. (Enough to spend money on him hehe.)
But yes I would love more Yugi stuff! And more things of other characters of the show!
