For ~tasertailInspired by our awesome rainforest adventures and our favourite green skinned and blue haired fairy. Who likes to wear braids apparently.
Besides, you need a picture that is both pretty with a half-naked lady that also makes an amusing inside joke. I know you love all those things
Time 2 hours - I'm getting faster! I did the colour theory swatchy thing for the whole picture this time.
It really helps it look natural! [link] I hate how the wings look though, they just killed everything, but they have to be there I'm afraid otherwise she's just floating in mid-air. And those feet where supposed to be like plant roots, now I have no idea what the truck they are.
I haven't been wanting to reply back to anyone unless it was specifically related to my art because I don't feel like being personal anymore

You can probabyl see the styles :'D Thing is it probably says the name as "rhiannon" or "racku" around the place because I loved to pretend I was my character back then.. lame D;

In truth I think the wings look good, they look like dragon-fly wings still buzzing/flapping and giving that effect rather than the traditional bat-like wings.
This is really well done, I love all of the dark forest colours it makes it gloomy but not depressing, mystical moreso. Also the darkness couteracts with the bright yellow of her bikini and that blue shining bird. Which is a good thing, making the person draw their attention to the picture. I love that you have done her hair a lovely shade of navy blue, it goes very well with her lovely green skin colour 
Her freckles are cool and make her look more innocent and child-like, nice touch! The blue bird is just epic because it gives the forest fairy awesome light reflecting on her lovely skin, once again giving it that 'fantasy' air/atmosphere.
I love the foggy/dark look of the background, very clever and very effective with this piece.

Yeah, I'm quite unsure with them, I haven't gotten wings solid yet.
My initial idea was the make the forest lushess.. [link] Something like that! It is a bit gloomy, I know it and I couldn't really do much about it when painting it
Green and yellow!
Navy blue.. yeah, it wasn't my choice rather than a homage to the inspiration but I like it too!
I didn't mention it, but I had a lot in mind of traditional artworks of nymphs and pixies. They tended to have freckles, yeah 
In the beginning, the background I didn't like it too much, but you're making me see it in a different light now.

I like the gloominess! It is more mystical and gives us a bit of a dark edge to this otherwise, innocent picture. It's a lovely and different feature.
Green and yellow are beautiful together! You've used them well here

A lot of the time the light comes from the front if you notice, or at least where the person is facing >_< Makes it easier to paint the face.

This is so beautiful. The colour scheme really works with the dark greens and blues, and the yellow gives a great accent to it. The body is lovely and well proportioned, but I have to agree the wings look a tad out of place but it doesn't kill it. Very well done!
