Description
My first attempt to make art nouveau artwork digitally. Made with Photoshop CS2, Painter X and iPhoto... yes, I mean it... iPhoto
Anyway... I certainly WOULD buy a bottle of absinthe with such label.Should it be mature content warning? I guess not?

This is instantly recognizable as deriving from Art Nouveau -- the shape and border of the background and the lettering look like classic Mucha -- but you have put a unique twist on it. Having the fairy look, honestly, as if she might be in an altered state of mind herself, is a refreshing change over the standard of having the women look directly out at the viewer. The anatomy and pose are graceful and gorgeous, sensual and suggestive without being obscene. The positions of the hands looks natural. Also, this color scheme is very easy on the eyes. I feel like I could stare at this picture for a long time.
I would have liked to see longer hair and/or wings, but that could be personal preference rather than something that would make any sort of improvement. The design is simple, but that's appropriate for a bottle label, which would have to be mass-produced. I wish you had a slightly larger version of it up on this website, so the details were more apparent.
Overall, an attractive label -- if I were in the position of having to choose between various brands of Absinthe (?!?), I would be inclined to choose this one just for the label.

The mature label should probably be added eh, they seem rather anal about the showing of bare skin in art on DA, best to be safe than sorry.
I like the styalised (Nouveau) form of this and would definately be inclined to buy for curiosity alone good job.
