try going to Rome and not draw everything there! i dare ya!most of these are from Michelangelo's St. Peter's Basilica in the Vatican but the horsey ones are from the Trevi Fountain in the centre of Rome.
breathtaking! i couldn't possibly do it justice ever!

I went about the same time you did, and had pretty much no time to draw.

I loved St. Peter's Basilica. Those statues were huge!!!! My favorite thou, of course, was the pieta. It was breath taking. Great sketches by the way

we spent HOURS in there. there were alot of people but not as much that i couldn't hold up a sketchpad to draw and be in the way.

i'm not going back to the way i used to draw before i went to rome now. Michelangelo has inspired me that much. and aww man, you couldn't go into the sistine chapel? that SUCKS! i went twice so you can have one of my goes.

Wow, this is fantastic! I love the winged lion from the second set of pictures. I don't know, it just has an air of magesty to it thats really something.

oh really? enjoy it! it's sooo easy to get round Rome, and all that you wanna see is basically in the city centre so just use the metro to get around and you'll be fine.

When I went on holiday it was sunny for 2 days, then when we spent a day in Germany it POURED, me in shorts and t-shirt, said T-shirt went see through (fun times, not. Every other guy that walked past stared at me, serves me right for wearing the pinkest holster bolster known to manwoman kind), then rained for the rest of the week.
Pfft, at least you got the sunshine. No rickets for you.
Speaking of sunshine the weather was unseasonally GLORIOUS today.

Ahh, you reminded me of my lunch today. I go to greggs everyday and today I'd taken 2 bites of my sausage roll and I was just walking along and suddenly I felt something on my hand.
It was only a bloody spider! That thing went in the bin so quickly my hand nearly went with it, ugh.
I had to make do with a doughnut for lunch. I was high as a kite all afternoon.

i count myself very lucky, it was truely amazing. and i'm not religious but the vatican holds a butt load of art and that was a privalige to see.
