Description Zonette is another heroic demon cutie from my Nira based fantasy stories, and like "Whipped Cream and Demonica", is a sexy, but somewhat inaccurate and misleading introduction to the said character.

Zonette is a Cambion, the hybrid of a Human and Succubus-or-Incubus, and generally is a shy book worm who lives and works in the massive Sphinx Library, which is basically a whole city comprised of historians and similar people of written knowledge, along with their extensive records. But when Zonette cleans up, she really knows how to clean up!

The picture also looks quite heavenly, which of course in intentional, but she just happens to be high in the cloudy mountains. More information on Zonette in a future illustration that's more true to her character.

Thank you very much for saying so: would you like to see more art with her in the future?

The design is just so pleasing on so many levels. I like it a lot.

I like the idea of demonic protagonists - and not just anti-heroes, but literally demons that defy the stereotype. It makes the world seem less predictable and more fun to follow.

Yeah, in my Nira stories I wanted to do as many things as different from the common sword and sorcery epic as possible, and one of those were the idea of free-willed demons who've had their dark medieval past long behind them. There are still bad guy demons however, but with such a rich diversity of mythical monsters on history, why limit myself to them alone.

But then again, that kind of thinking lead to these guys... [link]
