Wow, this is amazing!
I've just read the "Ersatz Elevator" from the "A Series Of Unfortunate Events" books where those kids have to climb up 66 darkened stairs to reach the apartment of their new guardians. Not only because of the story, but also because of the great composition and lighting on this shot, I was drawn towards this super-cool photo.
Brilliant work here...
