Description I've seen an interview with Neil Gaiman who said, he doesn't really like illustrations about C'thulhu as Lovecraft often states in his work that the creature is indescribable. That is what I had in mind when I created this piece.Β

I have been critizised by not showing Cthulhu as Lovecraft described it, as you mention, and that's why these versions are the best. Great work

You did it !Β It is REALLY INDESCRIBABLE!! It fools the eye and mind and it's huge and menacing and part flesh, part etheral energy or whatever. As otherwordly as H.P.L. was probably imagining... I love the way you create that traslucent effect on the bigger limbs tentacles. That's masterful.
