Well, I sure haven't drawn her in a long time.
So, here's Cherry the Bat, one of the first characters I've ever created 4-5ish years ago.

I wanted to use her more, so I thought I'd give her a little design update.

Name: Cherene (name given by her parents).

-Name origin: Australia.

-Nickname(s): Cherry (She tells people to call her it, since she isn't fond of her real name).

Gender: Female.

Species: Bat.

Age: 16-17.

DoB: 13th August.

-Zodiac sign: Leo.

-Birthstone: Peridot.

Team type: Flying.

Job/occupation: Treasure hunter, Archaeologist (You'll see why, in her back story).

Persolality: Adventurous, intelligent, serious (at times), loyal, independent, free willed.

Single or Taken?: Single. (But looking for an adventurous "alpha male". )

Friends: Kira the Lion (knew long before Kira left), Yuffie the Zynx (acquaintance and encounters a few times when exploring), Jade the Rabbit (an old bestfriend), Zeo the Hedgehog (encountered a few times, acquaintance).

Family: Kate the Bat (sister), Maya the bat (Mother), Jacob the Bat (Father).

Likes: Exploring, challenges, camping, weapon crafting, building, swimming, climbing.

Dislikes: (Add later, I forgot. :I)

History: Cherene was born into a family that struggled with money. When she was 6, Her older sister, Kate, who was 11, was always a big help when sorting out her parent's debt, and that's what inspired Cherene to become more loyal and focus on helping too. By the time she turned 7 she learned how to fly really early, and improved very fast. She is one of the best fliers her home town ever seen, and one day, when she was 8 was flying around a home made course. And was spotted by one of the top adult fliers. So, he offered to take her on as her apprentice and she agreed. So through 3 years of training, she entered races, and won big cash prizes and use them to help her family. Kate on the other hand was jealous of her little sister, and decided to pay less attention to her. When Cherene was age 12, she started to develop a sense of adventure, and began to craft her own weapons to find food, and look for treasures to sell. During her training, she was sent on small missions, little did she know, she was being trained to be a thief. At the age of 14 she become quite a good thief and stole many things for her inquirer. When she found out what she's done, she fled and turned herself in, not knowing she was really stealing back the things that was stolen from people in the town. Her inquirer forgave her for trying to turn herself in, and carried on with her training. She then started to explore to different places and find out all she can about different cultures, and many other things during her travels. She soon developed an interest in archaeology around the age of 15 when remembering how she used to pretend to discover new places when she was 7. When travelling she barely uses her wings, since she loves to make things more of a challenge, as she loves to do things with a high difficulty. But when she wants to save herself some time and effort, she does end up using her wings and flies to where she wanted to go. Cherene is very patient when it comes to relationships, but she doesn't want to rush it. She's interested in people who is like her. Adventurous, brave, not afraid of a challenge. She does return home to visit her family, and help them. Her sister got married to a rich man, and does lend a hand sometimes. Her sister might be jealous of how much her sister changed, but that doesn't mean she doesn't care at all. Cherene and Kate have a nice relationship as sisters, but also best friends. Since her travels began, Cherene and her family became a lot closer and helps each other out when possible. She continues her travels knowing how much she helps not just her family and herself, but also the people she encounters on the way.
