Gosh I'm always a little jealous of how well people like you can do traditional artwork~!! It's always super impressive! The linework is really steady and well done, and the texture (Which I assume is because of the type of paper that's been used?) ALSO I like the way the sharp edges and shapes fit so well with Yugi. I've only seen a little of the show, but from what I have seen this is really really fitting :'>
It looks like it's got a sort of watercolor feel, and if it is watercolor then!! That's pretty damn good! I can never control watercolors like that! Like, legit I'm impressed, and if it's not watercolor I'm even more impressed?? I love the watercolor vibe either way!!! It'd be really nice to know how you got that! And if it is watercolor, how do you go about shading???
Speaking of; I love love LOVE the way you shade aswell! It's very blended but not too blended?? I wouldn't say it's exactly rough but it definately compliments the simple shapes and such.
OH OH ALSO !!! The expression you gave him??? Mm *Chefs kiss* 10/10 Smug and a little superior looking! I like it!!! It definately suits him, and you pull it off so well. Again; as someone who focuses on expressions alot myself I'm a lil jealous lel! I'm honestly more and more impressed the more I look at your art honestly..

This is by far one of the nicest comments I've ever received!! Thank you so much, this truly made my day!! 
The medium I used was in fact watercolor! The watercolors I use are the Paul Rubens 24 set and some Daniel Smith's watercolors. The paper I used was cold press so that's probably why you noticed some texture (it's my favorite kind of paper because of that).Β
The way I tend to use watercolors is by painting in multiple layers, so it can be kind of tedious lol. But when I finally build up a good enough base layer to my liking, I'll start to use more water to let the color bleed more outwards (such as for adding blush to the face) and then taking a somewhat dry brush to the edges to blend it out.Β
Also I'm so glad you like his facial expression!! Its definitely one of my favorite looks to draw! LolΒ

OHAYO SEKAI Good morning world! I'm here in behalf of time for some feedback regarding ur artwork.
Aaaaaaa~~ of course, who else would like this lovable hero of Yu-Gi-Oh!? He's got to be one of the most recognizable heroes of the anime (alongside Goku and Midoriya). After all, Yami Yugi is the coolest of 'em all IMO.
In a nutshell, I'd say, u got everything very accurate, even in ur traditional art style.
In specific words... I like the shading on Yami's skin. Makes it looks pretty professional, in that case. Second. Despite that his yellow bangs are too thick, it looks pretty neat. Nice highlights on each of them too. Third. I like how much detail u put on Yami's cloak. It stands out pretty nicely. The chains looks neat and well-drawn as well.
Nothing much in the concerns area, other than the yellow bangs being a little too thick, but the face kinda looks off since Yami's head has somewhat a triangular-shaped head IMO. But I'll give ya that since he still looks pretty neat.
All goes down to history. U did very amazing out there. I like it, keep up the great work and IT'S TIME TO DU-DU-DU-- DUDUDUDUDUDUDUDUEL!!!!

Thank you so much for commenting!! I didnt even realize that the bangs were too thick until you pointed it out to me. But you're totally right, they definitely are a little too thick! As for the face shape, I honestly didnt even think about it when drawing him so I'll for sure keep that in mind next time. Also!! Thank you so much for saying that my art looks professional, that means so much to me!
