So yeah I was walking up the stairs to my house and happened to glance behind me to see this and I quickly decided to get a photo of it. Turned out nicely, but not as bright as the actual thing.Related content

This is a pretty nice photograph. I really like how you have the different shades within the clouds. Funnily enough, the dark ones on the left remind me of an eon. I also really like the touches of blue/green I can see in them. The trees are a nice touch too, in my opinion.
Could I suggest maybe adding a bit more contrast to the clouds? I like the shapes they form, but I think if you made them more pronounced they'd look even better. Also, the building in the bottom right hand corner and the touch of black in the top left look out of place. Perhaps crop them out or find a way to make them lighter?

As for your suggestions I appreciate them, however I am unable to mess with the contrast or crop out the black areas. I have neither the tools nor the money to acquire any such tool in order to do that. Besides, I believe that (unless it's for a legal purpose or a publication) a photograph shouldn't be altered. You never know what you might see in the background and such.

wow this is an amazing photo..the sun lights off just enough sun light onto the clouds to make them stand out and the tree is a nice touch.. reminds me of the end of fall and the season saying its farewell

That really looks great. I see alot of these rays coming down during the sunset when theres just enough clouds.
