Jesus I hate vectors. How does one even start something like that? AI vector wizards are beyond my comprehension... Its eyes are so sticking, very calm yet alert. It seems like it knows a lot more than it gives away. Eventhough there are many brilliant details in this, perhaps there is one pinch too much? The finest lines are blurred or abrupted, creating unnecessary smudginess or uneasiness in the picture. Submitting it in a higher resolution could have solved the problem.

As for the image resolution. I give you just enough to get a feel for the work. I don't work for free and it should be obvious that if I upload a high resolution image, no one would have any reason to buy a print... This gallery and also my facebook page are just tasters of my work. If you want all the intricate details in glorious high resolution - you have to pay for it.

I've tried my hand at doing vector images in AI and all I accoplished was a set of dysfunctional alphabet XD we didn't get along, AI and I.
I see, that's an understandable philosophy. I'd do it too if I was more professional, I guess. Good on you though, it's wonderful if you've found your own thing in life and even get paid for it

Love the details. I have to say, I really enjoy the fact, that it's almost symmetrical, but then has these small details, that throw it a bit off, and breathes a bit more life into it (:

Thanks a lot for commenting. It's interesting the comments I've had about the symmetrical nature of it. It wasn't a conscious decision on my part for the overall look to be Symm/Asymm. It just ended up the way it ended up. I'll admit that having symmetrical elements to work on early in the piece did help me move forward past the moments of insecurity I always have. I always doubt my vision at the start of a piece like this.

Ha yes it was quite intensive and time consuming. It probably took about 10 hours but i spend a lot of time thinking and planning. Thanks for commenting.
