Thanks. Well, certainly this is PSEUDO incest cause they don't have blood relations but even if they did, I wouldn't care because they are gods and gods have a little bit different types of relationships. And I guess it is exactly what makes their relationships hotter. I'm kind of openly to it.

I wrote few stories about incest, generally brothers incest but there were relationships even between father and son, and there was like some kind of sexual tension, though it's extreme... because c'mon, it's all about true love, so I ain't even mad and I regret nothing.

True love or not, incest is not only socially gross (since we have been trained to believe such) but it leads to birth defects (hence the eventual social belief) but I lack desire to argue

It's not like I accept incest to humankind at all, When it comes to incest between humans I'm not talking about sex, I mean romantic love, special feelings - this is is NOT gross. And let me point out that I was talking about incest between same sex, not opposites that cause pregnancy.
As for gods, incest is okay for them because gods are not humans, their world different and we are not able to understand it. Read the mythology of different ancient cultures and you will see incest like Osiris being brother and husband of Isis, or prince Arjuna married his cousin Subhadra.
And well, I'm not arguing, we're just having a conversation where I try to point out what I mean. I'm pleased to talk.

Oh... great. So what's the deal with Thor & Loki being brothers? I mean, personally I'm not bothered even a bit, even if they were real brothers I wouldn't mind it cause I know they are god.
Answering your question on incest between opposite and same sex I would say: because man and woman are completely different and their relationships should be more restricted, because see; if a girl kisses another girl who is not her lover - it's okay, but if she will do same to some guy - that would be wrong and and it will make a whore out of her, same for guys (if it's not about homophobic case). Like if my crush kissed another man, I'd be all right, but I'd get really pissed off if he will kiss a woman.
I'm learning psychology and always analyzing things and I am sure many women feel same way.
Oh, it's been a long time since I was angry. Don't worry, I'm very friendly and openly person. If I may sound kind of harsh then I'm sorry, sometimes I don't notice my excitement. Everyday I'm learning something new, like understanding things from the inside and make myself better.

Lol all i can say is you and i have very different points of view, true, i would be SO MUCH LESS angry if my boyfriend cheated on me with a guy cuz then i'd be like "oh, he was gay" ...of course he's my husband so but had he been my boyfriend i woulda just assumed he was confused. If he cheated on me either way though, i'd be hell pissed
I'd say you're fairly prejudice against female to male relationships which makes sense cuz they're so much more complicated but in my opinion, if a guy and a girl can't be together it's unfair for a girl and a girl or a guy and a guy to be together, just like in real life tis especially messed up that homosexuals can't get married, then hell! i shouldn't be allowed to get married either. It's unfair that certain people can be together while others cannot based on something they have no control over: gender. Hence incest, in my opinion, is fine being prohibited since, though no harm would be done between the same sex, opposite sexes could not attract.
As for gods, i thought about what you were saying and came to the conclusion that the only reason we've been taught that incest is gross is due to the birth defects it causes. However, gods don't have to deal with all that since, well, they're gods! so incest between them is no problem whatsoever. Unfortunately, of course, gods more often than not, don't love each other so it also contradicts your "true love" view (which i share) hence you get Zeus' many lovers.

I just said mine that is not even old fashioned, more likely like some kind of mix of different 'ancient' and unworldy standards, and your is more modern standard ordinary class people. People always telling me 'C'mon it's 21'st century' and I'm like 'whatever, I'm the alien who came from the past'.
Concerning true love between gods... well, it depends on what mythology you take in consideration. Greek is not a good example, I've never been pleased with their affairs. Better put Hinduism mythology that is more rich with true love stories and great friendship stories.

Intolerance to me is not too far from ignorant
like you, you believe in incest i'd be ignorant to be intolerant towards you just because we don't share similar beliefs
so i'm very tolerant of others' opinions, unless it involves hurting another individual or the self
But i'm more an ancient mythology freak though hinduism does intrigue me, i wonder if i can get a book and learn some

Hindu Vedas are very rich and complex. I did read some parts of Bhagavata Purana or Srimad Bhagavatam about gods, world's creating and everything - it's amazingly epic. Bhagavad-Gita on this matter is awesome too.
I don't bear the beliefs of the past but I try to think above normal mind by working with logic and see things by comparing them to another.
