Okie...took the entire afternoon and night to draw and paint this one. And when I was brushing my teeth before going to bed this morning at 2 am, I looked into the mirror and realised that I'm starting to look very much like Outenkun..........*screams*

(Back to the piccy...) I've been wanting to draw a pic about the '7 who battled Jyoka' for sometime after reading the entire manga series. Having a little picture in my mind, I started drawing it out. Fukki was the first one to be drawn (of course!!!!!!!), next was Roushi, later Choukei...then I was stuck. For a while. 3 characters and they took up quite a whole lot of space....(and to think that I have 4 more to go).That's when I started planning again and drawing from the other side.

I'm not very good at drawing Shinkouhyou and the very first few attempts were terrible. Nataku and Youzen were easier, the tough part came when I was trying to squeeze in a place for Nentou. (And I hate his hair....)

[For those who never read the manga before (Starting from the guy who has his eyes closed, clockwise): Nentou, Youzen, Nataku, Shinkouhyou, Fukki, Roushi (Taijouroukun), Choukei]

After painting the entire thing, I wondered if I should add in the usual white highlights. However, the entire thing seems okay without it, so I left it as it is.

Medium: Poster paints (Thought of using Copics, but I don't have that many range of browns...)
