Draw a lot and you'll improve rapidly. Don't just look at one person's work for inspiration, find a diverse range of styles you like, but which are still different from each other. That will help you develop your own unique style. If you're disappointed with your art at any time, just remember that you're always improving. I am nowhere near at my artistic 'peak' yet, so I just count every 'failed' drawing as one step towards getting better.

It's a pokemon run bound by rules wich keep the player within specific limits. There are two/three obligatory rules for every nuzlocke (depends who do you ask):
1- A fainted pokemon is considered dead, so it cannot be used again during the whole play. (You may chose to free the "dead" pokemon o just keep it in a "graveyard" box inside the PC)
2- Each pokemon captured shall have a name.
3- You may only catch one pokemon per route. (this rule is the one with more optional clausules, such as: No doubles (with o without considering evolution lines), only the first pokemon you encounter, separated parts (woods, caves, specific areas) count as another route, shiny exception, etc).
Apart from these, other rules are up to you (you can even make your own). Some optional rules usually seen are: no items -except pokeballs-, capture or not the legendary, no starter -you left your starter on pc after the first capture-, and a lot more I cannot think of right now.
The Nuzlocke will follow the game story, but an author can merge a whole new plot on it to make the difference.

This was one badass comic. My lord, the puns, the mother fucking puns. I must say I hate you for leaving me on such a cliff hanger, but at the same time, I thought it was cool. I like the twist that you're putting on the game's story line. Anyway, I can't wait to see the next comic. You're getting a little too good at making these.
