good question. it sat for a few weeks as i worked on it here and there. i tend to lose track of time so i can only guesstimate around forty hours, maybe more. i am going to make it a point to note the time on my next piece. i wish i knew for sure.

Yeah, similar situation for me. Often I multitask while I work, and it's hard to tell what percent of the time is me actually "working on it" as opposed to eating or watching TV or something.
This summer I plan to do timed speedpaints though.
