Honestly, I find the pose doesn't work for him, so hope you don't mind the following. When I first looked at him, my mind tried to make out a normal human shape, like with regular feet. And the first thing I saw for feet, were the two front scorpion legs, which made him look deformed. Even now, I keep seeing him like a normal person, with two feet, but their short. I guess trying to fit him into the layout didn't give much room for other angles. But seeing him more from the side would help him look right.
Besides that, his design is very cool. Color choices work great. And the added armor for his scorpion half is a very good idea.

Thanks again for giving your imput! What I wanted to do with the pose is give him an angle where you can see his long-ish body entirely, or most of it anyway. A side angle seemed boring to me at the time and I wanted to experiment with a downward shot. He's also leaning back a bit, so that makes it look like his 'real' legs are the two in front. I knew he was going to be a difficult one for posing. Mayhaps a lower shot from the same degree would do better.
His design was really different from the rest. Not sure how he got that armor on in the back, though. lol
