FINALLY FINISHED!I took a little time off to make something other than commissions! (Truth be told, it took waaaaaay longer than expected. Surprise, lol. Story of my life!) I can't impress on you guys how much these pictures don't do her justice. She is the most adorable thing I've ever made, hands down.
But anyway! Ever since I played that one "take care of the baby mane 6" game (I actually played it for the baby care aspect, not the gore
) I've wanted to make a cute, floppy, baby pattern. The new royal baby gave me an excuse! While I have mixed emotions about the over-sized wings and horn aspect, I do have to admit, she turned out to be a cutie pie! I definitely want to start offering these "Cuddle Babies" for commission as soon as I get a little more practice under my belt with them so I can evaluate what to price them at.Onto her details!
Flurry is made from Mauve, Turquoise, and Snow minky. Her gradients are airbrushed and the fabric texture is 100% unaffected.
Her eyes and hair lines are machine embroidered with files designed by equinepalette (me) Her pattern is also by me.
She is 17" (40cm) tall to the tip of her horn. She is about the size of a newborn, so perfect for cuddling in your arms or holding for a Cadence/Shining Armor cosplay! She has two sets of wings, one open and one closed, which attach via strong neodymium earth magnets. The open wings are lightly wired for some support, though are still floppy. Closed wings are for cuddles and have no wire at all. Her pacifier attaches via strong neodymium earth magnets. Her diaper is removable via velcro. She is stuffed super soft and floppy for maximum cuddles! She has a little acrylic beans in her body for weight, but she's just a newborn and has trouble sitting up yet! The shade of purple in her mane seems a bit off.

Well, first of all, lighting can change the colors from plush to plush. Second, purple is really hard to photograph since camera lenses perceive it differently than our eyes. Third, even if it IS a BIT off, you try finding the right color when the original is a gradient and you're limited to all of 5 purples to choose from in minky. I'm sorry, but I'm actually not because is comment is kinda pointless and rude since that's something out of my power.

I absolutely adore her. Darn though whenever you are able to get commissions open please let me know. The wait and cost is so worth this, I love all the detail work on her like I'm seriously blown away the embroidered eyes, the wings and detachable pacifier. This is perfect is the only way I can describe this.

Maybe, maybe not. Depends on how small. Larger is easier to sew. And, the price wouldn't go down much due to size--they take about the same amount of work.
