Taken in the abandoned Fairfield Hills Mental Facility in Newtown Connecticut. This was a ward in the Fairfield house. It was quite a striking shot the way the light was coming through the windows of the patient rooms. Notice they were all painted a different color inside. More to come..Related content

Wow........... Once or twice iv been to the mental ward for suicadal tendencies due to my chronic depression, but faaaark, none of them felt like this.....
Well im enjoying the Journey your taking us on, but i also hope you find the strength and comfort to battle the past and resolve the future before it becomes a life path for you, you show your strngth of charecter here thro your work, im wondering due you cary this through in your day to day life

This is an incredible shot. You can really get an erie feel by the light casting, the colors and the cold hard stark tiles. Excellent angle as well which only helps the feeling of the image. You have a great eye. I see real talent here : )

simple awesome -- wonderful composition, the orange and green colors are a perfect eye catcher from the pattern of the shadows, then with the blue on the left and the doors not all at the same position. The only thing I could see would maybe be more emphasis on the floor pattern -- but that might even take away from the colors and pattern of the doors
