haha, thank you, and yeah charcoal can be difficult. I used willow sticks for this though and it wasn't bad at all!

just one question. how do you fix charcoal so it doesnt smudge out when you touch it with hands or something like that?

Most people use a fixative when they are finished with the piece, or a working fixative which will (as it sounds) make it so you can still draw but not smudge.
On this one, i didn't use a fixative at all, just never touched the paper, and it's now kept in the open where it wont be smudged. I will probably be spraying it with a fixative at some point in time
