Chapter Five: Other Matters

~In the Realm of Chaos

"You are, by far, the most idiotic demon within our ranks!!!" says Telos, "How could you have not know that your warrior had a pre-existing relationship with that Shirou boy?!?!?"  "Well how the HELL was I suposed to know that my choice was in the Holy Grail Wars?!?!?" says Envy.  "ENOUGH!" says Ghost, "Stop arguing like children.  We have to address this problem right away.  Envy, since you started this whole mess, what is your solution?"  "I have it already taken care of." says Envy, "My servant is heading out there as we speak.  He should take care of that boy for us."  "You mean Jealousy?" says Omega, "Are you sure that Chaos Spawn can do the job?"  "Even if he can't," says Envy, "it will buy us some time."  "Envy is right." says Ghost, "The time draws near, and Jealousy should keep the occupied long enough for us to obtain the final piece of this play."

~Meanwhile, back at Shirou's house....

"Shirou hasn't said anything since we got back here." says Rin, "Given what has happened, it dosen't suprise me."  "With KOS-MOS reporting directly to Freya and the others," says Edward, "Valgaav, Rushina, give a report on what happened."  "It's obvious that Omega has created another Dark Lord." says Valgaav, "This one was created by using the remains of Hellmaster Fibrizo.  That much we know.  But who the host is, and how this Dark Lord was created, we're still in the dark on that."  "There was something about that." says Rushina, "Omega said that Envy helped him pick the host.  The most we know is that the host is a legendary warrior.  It narrows down the list, but not by much."

"Wait a second...." says Masane, "Didn't Omega steal reasearch data on Cloneblades?  When the Witchblade reacted to that warrior, at first I thought it was the same as when the Gavv Dragoon Stone was created.  But, now that I think of it, the reaction was similar to when it reacts to a Cloneblade."  "But that would mean that....." says Edward.  "The warrior is female." says Valgaav.

"Just as I thought." Rin thinks to herself.  "When she hesitated, there is no mistake.  It has to be..."  "Rin?" says Al, "Is something wrong?"  "No," says Rin, "It's nothing.  Don't worry about it."  Al looks at Rin with a serious face.  "Rin," says Al, "You're not telling me something, aren't you?"  "Whatever gave you that idea?" says Rin.  "Dose it have something to do with why Shirou isn't talking?" says Al, "You know why Protos hesitated, don't you?  Anwser me."

Just then, there was a knock on the door.  "No I don't" says Rin, "Now, if you don't mind, I think I have to get that."  Rin knew that Al suspects something.  That knock on the door couldn't have come at a better time.  A few more seconds, and she was sure Ed would follow on those suspicions.  And he knew how to make her talk.  "Good thing I got out of there." Rin thought to herself, "I need to figure out a way to get that picture away from Edward.  I couldn't live with myself if anyone found out my secret."

When Rin opens the door, she sees a girl with silverish-blue hair standing there.  "I'm sorry if I'm intruding." says Lennith, "But my sister, Hrist, said that Edward Elric is here."  "You must be Hrist's sister." says Rin, "Lennith, right?  Come on in."  She leads Lennith to the others.  "Lennith?" says Rushina when she sees her.  "What are you doing here?"

"Edward," says Lennith, "Hrist told me to give this to you."  She hands Edward a note.  "She also said that she had something she needed to look into, and therefore couldn't deliver the message herself."  "I understand." says Edward.  He opens the note, and reads it to himself......

Edward,

I am sure by now that you have seen Omega's newest "project".  I have a good idea who the host is.  As such, I have a special team of Einherjar that I'm currectly puting togeather.  But, there is another matter that needs to be delt with.  A chaos storm is growing.  As you know, chaos storms are weak in Earth Realm, but I fear that our enemies plan to use this chaos storm for ill.  Deal with it right away, avoid combat with this new threat until I arrive, and keep an eye on your friend Shirou.  I am sure the forces of Chaos have plans for him.

"I knew it." says Edward, "Rin, I know what you've been hiding this whole time.  Just be glad I didn't have to force it out of you."  Rin turned pale for a second.  "But there is a more pressing matter at hand.  First, we need to get Shirou somewhere safe.  Who knows when...."

But, before Ed was able to finish talking, a bladed arm busts through the wall, nearly hitting him.  Ed looks through the hole in the wall, and sees a short figure clad in black.  "Who the Hell are you?!?!?" says Rin.

"My name is Jealousy." the creature says is a child like voice.  "Envy has sent me to kill Shirou Emiya.  However, I have no issue killing all of you as well."
