Done in summer of 2016, but I had this in mind for a long while; once again, this was very much inspired by BechnoKid ‘s original post , as well as @sovonight ‘s many very inspiring versions as well. I think that the idea of putting Ford in a version of the Mr. Mystery suit is an idea that originally pre-dated the finale? Before folks knew what was going to become of the Shack and everything; and of course, I think it was originally a lighthearted and optimistic / hopeful idea for how things might shake out (during a time period in which the fandom was extremely anxious about that). This version, however, is a combination of that visual idea (both of the Stans in suits), but meshed with the post-finale reality of things like Soos becoming Mr. Mystery with Melody's assistance. But who's to say the entire family might not get in on it, during the next summer?

This piece is a combo of some screenshot redraws – Stan and Ford are based on a photo that Ford has of the two of them in ATOTS; Dipper is from “Boss Mabel”, Mabel is doing Stan’s classic pose from the credits of course; and even the Mystery Shack, technically (from the finale). (Mabel's pink glitter fez was an idea taken from @scribefindegil's cosplay.) Done pretty much all traditionally with regular fine-line ink pens and Copic coloring; but some PS effects at the end, including on Mabel's fez.
