Description
My Ganondorf costume. This was a real challenge for me because it was my first big work on armor and I'm not exactly shaped like Ganondorf... I had extra padding for the chest and the thighs too, to make me look bigger.It was done for a group with and for the french preliminaries for European Cosplay Gathering 2012. We did 2nd on the prelims.

Thanks a lot ! The armor is made of evazote, which is a type of craft foam.

I was thinking foam might be workable, but I've never seen something rigid enough to use before. Time for a shopping trip, methinks.

I used several types of foam. For ganondorf it was 5mm thick foam, with 2mm thick foam for ornaments, if it can help.

Yeah, I can get the 2mm stuff where I am, I've used it to make feathers for wings before. But I'll have to go shopping around for the thicker stuff. I hope I can find it, because I don't think I can get even 3mm MDF to bend that far. Maybe for the breastplate, but nothing else.
It did make a gorgeous base for Link's shield, though.

I've still a few things to improve, such as latex prothesis for the face, in order to be closer from Ganondorf features, but thanks a lot x)
