Now that's some epic cuteness - you've done a great job of giving off the implication that this creature is a bundle of fun, and I'm enjoying looking at it - it really is a good picture. although at times the brush strokes stop giving off the impression of hair and start becoming jsut that - brush strokes - the whole thing is a bundle of joy.

This is my first time really using this technique in this manner, usually I just use one level of shadows. So it was just a giant experimentation for me with this image

I have all the first gen cards except charizard, the Squirtle line (I gave them to my friend as a b-day gift), gyrados, and that's it, I might have missed one other but you get the idea. I have a few less of 2nd gen, almost all of 3rd gen and a little less then half of 4th gen too.
That being said; I know almost none of the 4th gen and don't like them enough to learn the proper spelling for them.
I mean 4th gen gave us Bidoof. Stupid beaver

yar, i'd have to say my favorites are from whatever generation Emerald is. third? the quality of pokemon ideas seem to have decreased. i mean, pachirisu, what the hell, it's an electric squirrel, and even though pikachu is an electric mouse, at least it looks less like a mouse than pachirisu looks like a squirrel. same with bidoof

My fave gen is 1+2. Second gen is notoriously regarded as the best gen after the original 151. It might be because they were made by the original creator of pokemon, who has since left the scene and now someone else designs the pokemon. Frankly; they should come to dA and pay the fakemon deigners for their fakes. Cause we do better pokemon then actual pokemon!!
