after looking at Tymethia 's work, it gave me inspiration to do some of my own Tamora Pierce characters. In order: Queen THayet, Verilidaine (Daine), Keladry (Kel), Alanna, and Ally(sp?).edit
okay srsly, i don't rly know what color eyes or hair most of them have. Aly had blue hair in one of the books, at least at the beginning, and I drew Kel, and when I did, Kel had auburn, but i dont exactly know what color auburn is and apparently she is too blonde, but this is how i see them, this is how i drew them, so yeah

Very awesome. I think kel is fine, on one of the book covers she was drawn with blonde hair, so that's how I always pictured her. I would love to see a picture of Beka though . . .

Huh, I never thought of a blond Kel. She looks good! And you're right; when Aly had long hair at the beginning of the first book, it was blue. Haters gonna hate?

I just read your edits and I agree with you... I don't care what colour hair they have either. Just saying, the crossed out daine (it was daine, right) looks awesome as well, you shouldn't have scribbled it out, but it doesnt matter. Is it just me, or Thayet looks older than the others? oh well...
I just love your picture, and when I first looked at Kel, I thought that the her body was really skinny (the crissed crossed parts) and the grey was a cape...

no, these are all from the Tortall books, not Circle books. i'm sure you know all this now if you've read them by now. thayet is from song of the lioness. daine is from Immortals. kel is from protector of the small. aly is alanna's daughter from the trickster books. the trickster ones are absolutely my favorite!!

This is awesome. Ignore what people say about the colouring. Everyone has a different way they see characters in their imagination. As long as you like it, who really cares what anyone else thinks.

I think...people should chill. It's a book and everyone has a different take on what the characters look like. We all put a little something different into the characters that we like (or dislike) and that's what makes us like them (or hate them!). I like this picture, though. You made each character look different while staying in the same style of art. (The picture of Diana is probably my favorite, by the way.)

Ummm, just a few pick-ups: Kel has brown hair, not blonde... And Aly's is short and redish brown... Alanna's eyes are purple (they look black or something) and Aly's are hazel like George's... O
