You're welcome. Can you give me some pointers on shading? That's my weak point D:

yeah, I can!

err... Materials for shading:

Why the pencils you use??

I use pencil-case HB & 2B
Pencils HB, 2B, 4B & 6B
paper canson is great for shading

First you have to train make gradients, the darkest to the lightest possible.

And i recommend see videos of "Charles Lavesso" on youtube [Brasilian artist, his shading is perfect, worth seeing!] and other artists too

Anything, I'm avaliable!! Hope to be helping
hugs, see ya!

So I mainly use H5 to make very light sketches, but I'm switching to H4/H3 atm, because I can see the lines more clearly.
To make my outlines more defined, I use HB (but HB2 sometimes too).
To shade I have a range from H5 to B6, so pretty good.
I will definitely check the link you gave me, I really wish to get better at it.

wow, you use more pencils types than I

I use only: HB, 2B, 4B & 6B
but I trained so much my tecniques, could well dominate the shade with these pencils only

late you say me if you liked of "charles lavesso"

hugs, see ya!

You're right, his technique is prfect, but it doesn't seem like he clearly explains his techniques... But I guess I'll get there one way or another. I'm planning on drawing some things purely as a way to improve on shading. Must be feasible. Let's hope it works.

I learn some tecniques just seeing the video, the order and pressure of the pencil...
Sometimes I learn studying draws of other artists, the way was maked, and other things.
Good luck on your evolution . I wanna see yours late jobs!
