Wax is the ultimate as a finisher. It's very forgiving because you can change things like forever. Sculpey as a base keeps the sculpt loose where as direct wax if cleaned down too much will tend to make the work look stiff. I think it gives my work it's own look somewhat.
The S on Supes looks funny because I pinched the lower half of the torso to taper to a small base/stand to hold it up. Makes the S look too big probably...?

I don't see anything wrong with the S. it just look wierd on the bottom because it's forming over his pecs
