Description Collaboration with =Smiling-Demon for Evokeone: Age

I highly recommend a visit of the site because for their newest release Evoke came up with a fresh and professional looking design, which makes browsing through the exhibition definitely worthwhile.

For this image I got the opportunity to work with one of Alastairs great panoramic photos. He is a fantastic photographer and abstract artist, so make sure to check his gallery out.

We were lucky to get a feature for this piece.

About the meaning of the image:
Better don't question the physics and meaning of all the elements in this piece. I am a Physicist; I know nothing of this would ever be possible, so there's no need to point it out. I just wanted to share my crazy ideas with you and create something really weird.

very nice collab e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s… " width="15" height="15" alt="" title=" (Smile)"/>

the composition is good , nice use of hot and cold colors.
Nice digital paint in all the canvas , great concept and focal.
The lights are right.

The sky is pretty awesome , great digital paint of planets and stars ; The big exsplosion is really awesome , but personally i don't like so much the lines that start from the exsplosion and finish on the left.
Really nice the wake of light on the sky and the other rocks.

The Mountain in first floor are really nice , nice digital paint and nice are also the manipulation on blending of people and fire.

The steep mountain in distance are nice , but you could improve more , even with more detail or texture , but they give a fantasy\sci-fi atmosphere in the piece e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s… " width="15" height="15" alt="" title=" (Smile)"/>

The Depth is really good like the light.
The Quality is fine , but there is a little noise on all the piece that disturbs just a bit.

The piece is very original , but there're something that are already seen in other your pieces e.deviantart.net/emoticons/let… " width="15" height="15" alt="" title=" (Lick)"/>

I was able to understand everything and besides it's not my first language, either, so no worries.

I always had an affinity for space, that's why I enjoy science so much.
But now that I enjoy art as well, I am trying to create a college piece about it.
But that's not all.

I also enjoy playing games as well, more's the point, games about space.
So I'm thinking of taking parts from a few space games I know of and mash them together in some way.

Also as part of a requirement for my course, I need contextual references, artists that I could gain inspiration from.

Would it be alright if I could use you as a reference? I will probably need your real name for that.
If not, I could probably pass your user name as a real one.

julibugs In reply to ErikShoemaker [2015-05-13 18:14:20 +0000 UTC]

Oh, I uh, I had changed my outcome to something not about space, soo, I can't really use you as a reference.

Sorry. :-/

Maybe next time if I do a space thing I'll use you.
(...some of them want to be used by you )

Of course I'll send a picture or two as well.
But like I said, it depends if the opportunity will reveal itself.

And which way the wind's blowing.
