However, his attention to detail is precise. He doesn't change his answers due to forgetting what he said the other time, but more in the lines of messing with people and seeing their reactions. Remus is also grossly fond of puns and jokes. It can be seen as a defensive mechanism almost, to keep other away from his personal well being. His observant nature also heavily assists him in his career as a merchant. He knows how to swindle people out of their things, and knows how to do it well.
Remus is not only book smart, but street smart as well. He enjoys engulfing new concepts or information not yet revealed to him. As a result he is very knowledge hungry, and not in a bad way. This side of himself is almost constructed as a scientist, scanning through every detail with every observation, but not only in fact, but in other cats as well. He loves to analyse an individual, almost like a psychiatrist. It's like a treasure hunt for him, to find out why someone does the things they do and how they got to that point in their life- to find out how someone's head works. It would get to a point where most of the time cats ever find it overwhelming whenever he voices his studies about other cats..
Although, he may seem as a headstrong and scheming tom, he's actually quite frail once you get inside his head. In reality he's a simply a scared cat who's paranoid in having anyone know everything about him and trusting people. He masks this paranoia with countless layers of lies and barriers in order to protect himself. He just doesn't know it yet..

It was the first day of school and Noel was NOT excited. A new school meant new classes, new routines, new friends, and in Noel’s point of view, he wasn’t particularly fond of the idea. Noel didn’t really know why, but himself as a whole combined with things other human beings didn't usually end well. Whether it be because of the way he whispers and stutters when he attempts to talk, or even his clumsy gait he has when he shambles around, he knew from experience that it was best just not to socialize with anyone.
  As he pushed out the cafeteria doors, the lanky blonde (almost white as most assumed) couldn't help just heave a small huff, a crumbled piece of paper with scribbled writing on it grasped into his hands. Without noticing the fog of his breath had slowly turned into ice crystals collecting on the window on which he exhaled on. Stepping outside he took small gulps of air, taking pint sized steps as he warily scanned his surrounding. Based on what he could see, he was at the back of the school? He looked at his palm again, reopening the crushed schedule sheet. Noel was no where near where he was supposed to be, which was his in his English class. It was too late though. The doors where he came out of were already locked and the bell was bound to ring any second now.
Noel let out a weak moan. He could only wonder what else he was going to fuck up today.
