Description
So I'll admit that I've been a bit of a political junky the past few weeks between the two conventions... then after seeing Shepard Fairey's limited edition poster and Scott Hansen's Obama poster , I was struck with a little inspiration to sketch out a few ideas myself. This is by no means a A) finished piece or B) commissioned by RockTheVote.com, but I figured it'd be a fun exercise to share nonetheless.You can also visit the actual RocktheVote.com site here.

This one was 90% illustrator and 10% photoshop - the text is the result of some experimenting with layering the 3d transform effect a couple times in illustrator - the swirls and other elements are all custom brushes that I picked up from GoMedia in addition to several of my own variations of them. The texture of course is all done PS
