First of all I love the coloring and the textures you used for this, and it makes for a very very interesting picture.

That being said, I think this picture is lacking a little 'oomph' such as, namely, shadows. I see that there is shadows in it already, but there should be a little more on the people, not only to give them Dimensionality, but also to give them the illusion of being shaded under a tree. nice work, my suggestion is maybe you could add more shades apart from the areas that have the shade hatching on?
