About 30 hrs
I just had to do another portrait of aaliyah she was such a beautiful women and i failed on my other attempt which looks like megan fox. I feel like im getting better and more patient with my work and I am finally happy with this portrait. Let me know what you think.

Oh, this is beautiful. I just wished it to be a little sharper. I know the dilemma though, my scanner is a bit too small for big sizes, too!

Thanks for the compliment. But yeah im going to get a scanner one of these days but for now imma have to deal with using my camera

Thanks for the honest feedback. yeah i actually don't have a scanner but ive learned that the pictures turn out alot better using a scanner.

well scanners often mess up the shading. Cameras are better there but with a camera the drawings are also often distorted and it's not very clear

Aaliyah was surely a great woman and role model. I admire her for staying such a wonderful person even after she became famous.
You captured her beauty here. It's a good work. The proportions are fine and the shading is great. It's just like the photo you used as a reference.
I would like it better, if the "scan" was clearer. But I figure you used a camera because the drawing must be too big to scan with a normal scanner.
