Zoom, Zoom, Zoom. (For a closeup that is.)Hopefully you won't find this portrait pitiful. But if you do, then I suggest you exit out of this box on your computer, laptop, or stolen mobile phone, as it depicts three rather unlucky orphans, Klaus, Violet, and Sunny Baudeliare
Okay enough of my Lemony rant. Here are the three Baudeliare orphans, duh. If you know the series well enough, you will recognize the pattern in the back of them as the paper lining the inside covers of the books! I sort of combined the book and movie costumes/looks of the kids. Also, I combined Brett Helequist's (the AMAZING illustrator) style and my own. Lineart done using HI-TECH C .3 Pilot pens and colored in Photoshop!

P.S. This is really pissing me off now because Sunny looks WAY too old, Violet way too girly, and Klaus WAY too short.

Ooh, I really like this style. It's definitely Helquist-y, but I can tell you incorporated your own unique style as well. I thought the animations during the credits of the movie were interesting but a bit too emo-looking for my taste. I much prefer your version.

And don't worry about your representations of the characters; they suit the movie versions perfectly, for Violet was too girly in the film, and Sunny too old. I can't remember if Klaus was too short or not, but I remember hating that his glasses were left out of the movie version.

No, Klaus was TALLER than Violet. The whole movie long I was all, WTF this is all wrong. But, I have a teeensy crush on him. >< <33 Movie version, I mean.
