Yeah, that's the problem. I don't really like big avatars, unless they're some kind of MMORPG game, uh.
Some look nice, but it's not enough for me to actually want to get them. I have never bought any GC anyway, so it doesn't bother me too much. And since new items are appearing almost every day, it kinda diminishes that special feeling of excitement whenever a new chance item appears :<

And of course, because that's basically going against the general rule of Show, Don't Tell. Not really talking about descriptions of the people in general, I'm just very intimidated when it's time to describe what kind of world do they live in and where they go LOL.
HMMM I read mostly historical fantasy, mysteries, classic literature, or stories generally about coming of age. Hmm, hard to pinpoint what I normally read, just stories I find interesting.

Ugh, if you must know (please don't get this book), it was a 'teen' book called How to Steal a Car. It was complete bullshit.
I can practically SMELL the author's tryhard attempt to make us like the main character who is 'not like most girls'. And it wasn't helping that I had a far better story in my mind when I first saw the summary of the book :/

Oh man, you have no idea.
See, what I THOUGHT I was getting, was a story about a girl who realized she was good at getting around security locks on cars, and used it to steal cars for fun. But one day, she chose the wrong car to steal, because an ACTUAL dangerous thief was targeting the same car and now she has to be on her wits to get out of the situation. In the end, she manages to keep herself alive and get the cops and the thief gets to jail. But SHE still did wrong and so she has to do community service or somethin'.
IN THE STORY, the girl didn't even DO CRAP. Some dumbass just left their goddamn car keys on top of their CAR and she just took it and left the owner carless! AND, she got away with all of that at the end, and she stole the SAME PERSON'S new car too! oh my GOD. Okay, rant over.
Oh yeah, that's why I have trouble with high fantasy genres. Tolkien has some super duper majestic names for everyone since it's not taking place in our world LOL.
