I really love all your pics, because they seem so reallistic!

Hell, your drawings are my favourite, I'm amazed with the result...it's impossible to me to reach such skill, and maybe not only for me...though I passed an art school.
All I can say is WOW! It is just like a photograph. You sure are talented! You did a beautiful job on his eyes!

Hm, it's been four years and three months right now. ^^ I could have done more drawings and got more practiced, but I am bit lazy, actually. (=

Oh, wow...it's been about five years for me, actually, but I jumped from medium to medium, style to style, for so long, and I really didn't take it seriously until recently. Drawing was just something to do during class. So, I'll give myself about a year and a half's experience, lol. You're doing very well, though. ^_^

I see. ^^ I can't say that I've changed my style so much. It's been kinda "realistic" since it got started, but it wasn't something calculated; I didn't even know that drawings could be that detailed and "alive" looking. I just wanted to make them as similar as possible to the original ref. My first attempt [link] is a crap! 
On the other hand, many people don't like my "style" because they say "then I could take a b&w picture instead", but I don't mind anymore. It's the way I like to work and I am actually proud of myself. Sometimes I want to do something less detailed too, so I won't be stuck on one thing. Everyone needs to be satisfied and "worried" on their own, like me.
I've talked too much hehe but I hope you keep on drawing. I want to see your works here one day too. ^^

I don't remember exactly which materials I used, but I think there were normal pencils (2B to sketch it, 4B and 6B to darken) a blending tool, a bit of eraser and normal canson paper. Which technique? God, I have no clue... I just didn't shade it too much.

Porque eu continuo colocando detalhes e mais sombra e parece que nunca acaba, ai quando eu vou ver o que eu queria fazer só um idéia virou muito mais. ><"

nossa, eu sofria do mesmo problema que você. Tive várias crises porque queria que saisse menos detalhado, mas não conseguia me segurar. O desenho do coringa foi o primeiro que me livrei disso. Deve ter sido porque fiz sem intenção nenhuma, foi "brincando" mesmo. E esse aí também tentei seguir o esquema de "o que der deu" haha se não for assim a gente nunca fica satisfeita. sempre acha que colocou detalhe demais ou detalhe de menos.
