I would comment "Always.", since Mipha deserves it more than Snape. But then I'll incite the argument on whether or not Snape is redeemed by his obsession/love for Lily.
(P.S. I'm on the side that says "Snape may have loved Lily, and was loyal to Dumbledore after Lily was threatened; but his treatment of Harry, as well as his choice to join an anti-Muggle and Muggleborn group knowing perfectly well Lily is a muggle-born, puts me in the gray area leaning more towards not fully redeemed.)
