Still alive. So I will provide a pictorial, minor fangirly submission/update. Why ain't this in a journal? Dunno.Long story short, I am lucky ._. I bought LHC as a belated bday gift for myself, and checked out Vertical's site for the German translations... which led me to the info that he was going to TCAF. Then I had to go to TCAF.
So, I was probably the most awkward person ever. Because I am insane enough to obsess over this series for the past two years, I gave him a print of mah Kaneda fanart: [link] After his 'sugoi' remark, I swore to finish the rest of the deck ._. Somehow.
On a side note, things I love about artists and autographs... they draw ☆ Originally Furuya was going to draw me Zera 'til I plopped out ze fanart. Then I got mah Kaneda, w00t!
I seriously cannot smile in pics for the life of me. I didn't mean to look angry/confused/expressionless... Although I was probably completely out of it at the time.

I have a feeling they will license it...I mean Verical mentioned it possibly being brought over so yay. I was still beyond belief when I heard that LHC was even being brought over. @x@
But yes maybe he will come to some event near here ghhh! He seems like a really nice guy with really nice and disturbing work.

No worries, I am on the same boat of disbelief as to how they licensed LHC xD;; But they still did! As long as he keeps creating his epic works, he is bound to be a guest in many future events x3
From my impression, he was indeed very nice (while I was being very awkward and fidget-y). Although I think my highlight from meeting him was his "Kaneda?!!!" remark when I gave him my fanart xD;;

Ghh! That's so funny. I think Kaneda is the most adored out of his characters. When I see Kaneda I just want to comfort the poor thing ;__.

See, I always thought it would be Jaibo, Zera or Raizou who are usually fan-adored... But ever since Kaneda's approach to drinking lychee wine in chapter two, I knew he would be mah fav xD;; Awkward and easily picked on, but loveable x3
