This is my most favorite kind of Diesel Multiple Unit so far. I would use this if I had my own commuter rail system, in addition to locomotive-hauled trains.

I just happen to have my own drawing of something like this


I'm more in love with the rolling stock than the Railroad itself! And I cannot wait to draw more pictures of Colorado Railcar/ US  Railcar DMUs.

Thanks, Tri-Rail only has a few of these and they don't usually roll them out at rush hour, but lately they have been.

These bear a striking resemblance to Bombardier's bi-level coaches. And holy crap those are tall!

And they feel tall when you ride them, like if your 2-story apartment sprouted wheels.
