It had certainly seemed an easy enough mission for a heroine the caliber of the Crimson Dynamo. Her friend Purity had been kidnapped by the upstart, self-proclaimed villainess Vanish, and Crimson was off to rescue her, a job that had fallen to her many times before.

Crimson hunted up Vanish's lair easy enough. The former pharmacist didn't seem like a very serious villainess, really. At least, not until the weighted net unexpectedly dropped on the Crimson Dynamo, pinning her in place. Before Crimson could reach into her utility belt and retrieve a tool to cut away the net she was grabbed from behind, her arms pinned to her side. A cool, wet rag was placed over her face and she inhaled the familiar scent of chloroform.

From then it was just a matter of time. The last thing she remembered was hearing Vanish coo into her ear, "Welcome, Crimson Dynamo, Purity and I have both been eagerly awaiting your arrival. I think Purity will be most disappointed at the manner of your appearance, however," the villainess laughed as Crimson's eyes rolled back into her head and she went limp in her abductress's arms.

While it may appear that the Crimson Dynamo is the property of Vanish, she is actually owned by and is just as steamy in her non-Steampunk version!
