Tumbnails make these pics look way worse than they are. I mean, they're not anything up to par with da Vinci, but they're not as horrid as the thumbnails make them seem.Bombur, as requested by my little brothers. Next up, I'll attempt Gandalf. Yaaaay more hair, wrinkles, and big noses! lol

i'm glad you didn't draw the top of his head.... I dunno if I can take Boy to see the hobbit without laughing at this character thinking it's him. lol

I guess I was just not terribly thrilled with how the thumb looked on Bofur. His pic really is a sketch compared to this. *shrug*

They are making the hobbit so much more serious than the book and it makes me sad but then i see this and all i can do is giggle. I really like the yellow-brown it is warm and inviting just like the characters are supposed to be!

I'm not entirely convinced it isn't following the spirit of the book in context of Middlearth as a whole. Much of the dialogue and interactions were downplayed or omitted in the book. The movie still has a much lighter feel than LotR, though.

Yeah. I agree with you i just wanted a bit more of the comedy since i find LotR a little dry. I suppose a lot of tolken fans will really enjoy it though!
