Description
Berlin class prototype USS Berlin.
The entire concept comes from a beer evening between me and one of my Euderion buddies while we were juggling new ideas for the Euderion fan films. We came up with the idea for a first responder ship that is equipped with quantum slipstream propulsion so that it can get to the scene of desaster quickly. We made up a few kitbash ideas for the exterior design, and this ship came out. Constructed in 2376 and refited with slipstream engines in 2380.
Equipped with a wide array of engineering and medical facilities, long-range transporters, rescue vehicles, and high-resolution deep-space sensors, she is more capable of responding to disasters than purely scientific ships in Starfleet, let alone the more military-oriented ships in the fleet. Size will be around 600 meters. Not sure yet, will do the math later.
