Description
This burr... Cactus Fragment... was stuck to the side of my foot.Another one left invisible tiny spikes embedded in my toe. I walked like an idiot for days.
What better than a picture to remind myself and others to wear shoes to the desert... not slippers

Owie >_< That's one mean little cactus ball thing. I'll bet those were probably hard to spot, so no wonder some found your foot. Then again, they were probably conspiring against anyone ill-equipped in the footwear department, so they might have really been after you.

couldn't get the little ones out.
they were invisible
but could tell it was there cos of the sharp pain when pressure is applied.
After 5 days (i think), the pain stopped.
the needle might have disintegrated itself

i've just been informed by my sister that if the needle reaches my heart though ma blood stream... i would die!

I know that feeling when I was little I stepped on roses... and of course... there were really much of thorns x_x
