I knew Coney Island Baby by Lou Reed and Coney Island Girl by the Fun Lovin' Criminals so I checked this one [link] - Coney Island is such a beautiful name for a place (I have never seen it but I liked the sound of it even before I got to know where and what it was, there's names/words like that....)

You might be closer to the truth than I...the dutch settled New York...it was originally called New Amsterdam...now I have to check my info!...of course the Irish could have bastardized the spelling...they do that to English quite often!
