Just wow o_O I absolutely adore this. I love how much detail you've put into those fishnets. I can tell it's taken you a while. The effects on her wings are amazing. The vivid green is such a contrast from the darker colours. Those belts look fantastic, I think it's the well-positioned lighting that makes them look so good. I've completely run out of things to say about this *favit*

O_O You say this is your best one yet, and I think I agree. The design on this is just fantastic and the detail is wonderful. Iβm in aweβ¦ So I lack the proper adjectives to describe this.
I know this sounds nuts on paper, but I really appreciate the descriptions you give your work. Not only does it point out some neato things (like where to find awesome belts to photomanip XD), but it gives us an idea of what you put into it. 20 plus hours and 34 layersβ¦ *low whistle* With that much effort, and such a fantastic outcome, it would be an insult if I didnβt fav this. Iβm just saying itβs nice to see artists that say something about their work to make it personal.

Thank you very much ^_^.
To me works of art are personal, so it just makes sense to say something about it (i.e. thought process, challenges, etc.) Artists that descriptions for complex works that consist of "..." really confuse me; they can't possibly have nothing to say, but they keep shut anyway. I don't do that. It makes that piece that much more personal for me and gives you guys some insight into my creative process.
Again, thank you, always appreciated.

You have a pretty good balance of details. Even the smaller body part can attract attention whith your style.

Exceptionally fab X3 Only 34 layers? I'm a layer addict myself (I end up going into the 120s with my layering on the more complicated pictures) but still, I'm like '...HOW?' XD I'd never be ablwe to do that on just 34 layers. 94, maybe...
Too cool as always X3

Yes, only 34, with a grand total of 228MB of file size (PSD format). I used to use more layers, but over the years my technique has become sharper and I'm able to use less and still achieve the effects I want.
And thank you, the comments are always appreciated.

Oh man, this is incredible! A bit different than your past stuff...
The detail in this peice is astounding - the patience you have for you art must be completely out of this world. It's really stunning.

Patience is key with any art. Rush jobs give rushed results, and those results are usually sloppy and unrefined. I spend anywhere between 3-6 hours with the pencil sketch for my pieces alone, fine tuning even at that early stage. I don't believe in putting a piece up for display unless your heart and soul is in it as well, because when you don't, it shows.
And thank you for the nice comment, much appreciated.

You keep improving every time you submit something. I love everything about this. The pose, the background, the colours...just. Wow.
I'm seriously out of things to say.

Lol, thank you.
I do, I believe. Improvement is a never-ending task for an artist, always pushing the boundaries and never letting up.

The fishnets look AMAZING how'dja do it? For me, I made a 9x9 pattern and fill it manually, but yours looks so much aliiiiive.

Each line of the fishnet was individually made to contour her form; I did use a pattern or created a pattern. I took a while, but the result is a much more fluid, realistic looking fishnet stocking that gives the subject (in this case Thera) depth and 3-dimensional qualities. Paired with proper shading and lighting and the effect is even more dramatic.
