NATG Rest day 2 Submission... I just can't take a day off for some reason. This is basically just an alternate version of the painting I did a few days ago, I only redid the background, the pony portion is the same. With this I was just experimenting and screwing around with some different techniques There are a lot of things about this that I like and some that turned out a bit wonky. The moon isn't perfectly round because there is no circle/ ellipse tool in Paint tool SAI, and I would have done something about that if this were a more serious effort. I made Seaswirl quite a bit bigger, because she was way too small in the original painting, it looked good in SAI, but she was blurry once uploaded, so I'm hoping that will be better on this one. I think the main lesson that I learned here is to get things to appear the way I want I need to just keep painting more layers with more colors, and eventually everything will work out. I really need to check out SAI version 2, but I'm not really wanting to learn a whole new program in the middle of the NATG.
