“Rumi? Is it… Is it really you?!” Maruki couldn’t believe his eyes. His ex-girlfriend who shouldn’t even remember who he was was somehow standing right in front of him calling him by name.

“Don’t be silly, of course it’s me! Come on, hurry up or you’re going to miss all of the action!” Rumi responded as she turned to walk away but gestured for him to follow her.

“Wait! What are you doing here? Where are you going? Rumi, hold on!” Maruki frantically pursued her as she picked up the pace. “What do you mean, ‘miss all of the action’?”

“It’s almost time for the main event!” Rumi chuckled as she lead her bewildered ex away from the portal generator.

Meanwhile, Sae, Makoto, and Eiko were making short work of the cities of East Europe, leaving flattened ruins in their footprints. Ann and Shiho had already managed to cross the Atlantic Ocean and were wreaking havoc on the North American East Coast. Haru and Tae were busy decimating the Middle East.

Futaba scrambled to keep up with providing navigational guidance for everyone. It was a difficult job, and she was beginning to struggle as she ran out of breath. “Good job, Queen! *pant* That takes care of Warsaw. *pant* Next city for you is about 12 steps to your 2 o’clock. *pant* *pant* Eiko-san, you should see a city about 3 steps in front of you, but be careful not to step on the power plant that’s just to your left. *pant* *pant* Take a step to the right first to make sure you miss it. *pant* *pant* *pant*”

“Hey uh… Oracle,” Ann interjected. “Are you alright? You sound like you’re uh… hyperventilating a bit.”

“Honestly, *pant* *pant* keeping track of all of you and having to talk so fast is harder than I thought it would be, but we’re doing great! We’re already about halfway done! *pant* *pant*”

“Then would anyone be opposed to taking a 5 minute break?” Ann suggested. “We’re not in that big of a rush, are we?”

“That’s fine with me,” Queen replied.

“I’m ok with that too,” Haru agreed.

“Thanks, everyone. *pant* *pant*” Futaba replied. “I should be good after we take five.”

The girls then paused their city stomping to relax for the moment.

“Been an interesting day hasn’t it, Makoto?” Sae asked her sister.

“It sure has… Thanks for helping us with this, Sis,” Makoto replied.

“Of course! I can’t let my little sister hog all the glory for saving the world again, can I?”

Makoto smiled. “I suppose not. Besides, we usually don’t get to spend much time together thanks to our schedules.”

“Well this is definitely a unique way for sisters to bond,” Eiko chimed in.

“True,” Sae agreed. “Running around the world together crushing major cities under our bare feet isn’t an experience easily forgotten.”

“I still can’t quite get my head around having to destroy the world in order to save it, but I guess if it’s the only way to do it…” Makoto responded.

“At least we’re all big enough now that it’s not taking much effort,” Eiko replied.

“How did you guys even get this big?” Sae asked. “I’m surprised Dimitry was careless enough to let his most powerful cake fall into your hands.”

“Oracle got her hands on some more of that cake somehow,” Makoto explained. “I’m actually not sure how she managed to pull it off.”

“Long story,” Futaba interjected.

“Well, just focus on catching your breath for now, but I’m interested in hearing it once this is over,” Sae replied. “You all think Dimitry has any more tricks up his sleeve to try and stop us?”

“Nah, I think he realizes by now that he bit off more than he could chew messing with the Phantom Thieves!” Eiko responded. “I bet he’s given up!”

“We’ll see. Keep your guard up just in case,” Makoto cautioned.

“Right,” Sae agreed. “We still don’t know everything he’s capable of.”

Meanwhile in North America, Ann made a discovery as she took a look around. “Oh, hey! I think I found New York City.”

“Yup, that’s NYC down there in front of you, Panther,” Futaba confirmed. “I was going to direct you there next but I guess I won’t even bother now.”

“I remembered where it is ‘cause my parents took me there a few years ago. It was a fun trip!”

“Oooh, I bet! Anyway, feel free to step on it when you’re done reminiscing.”

“New York City, huh?” Shiho interjected. “Hold on, I wanna get a closer look first, since we’re taking a break right now.”

“Fair enough.”

Shiho got on her hands and knees to examine what she could of the city.

“Can you even make out anything?” Ann asked.

“Not really,” Shiho replied. “Maybe if I had a magnifying glass… I wanted to see if I could find the Statue of Liberty, but It’s too tiny. Wait, I think this little speck might be it.”

“I wonder how the people down there are reacting to looking up and seeing your giant face staring down at them.” Ann chuckled.

“If you wanna find out, I could scan for a news broadcast,” Futaba offered. “I’m kinda curious myself about how the people in this Palace are handling our rampaging.”
