“Elizabeth!” Haru shouted. “Dimitry has you under his mind control! You’ve got to try and snap out of it!”

Elizabeth sneered. “Don’t be absurd! I’ve always faithfully served my master of my own free will, and I will continue to do so for as long as I have a heartbeat.”

“So Dimitry sent you down here to stop us, huh?” Tae asked.

“Correct,” Elizabeth replied. “It’s unfortunate that you and the others have chosen the path of betrayal. Master is quite displeased.”

“We freed them from Dimitry’s brainwashing!” Haru responded. “Please let us do the same for you, Elizabeth!”

“Why do you insist on perpetuating such nonsense?”

“I don’t think we’re going to get through to her, Noir,” Futaba interjected. “Just give me a second and I’ll run a threat analysis.” She then returned to her Persona.

“And what if we refuse to stop crushing cities?” Tae asked.

“If you don’t wish to cooperate, I’m afraid I’ll just have to eliminate you all!” Elizabeth replied with a creepy smile.

Meanwhile the boys, oblivious to Elizabeth’s presence, assumed the girls would be resuming their rampage shortly and made their way down into Mt. Fuji.

“At the rate they’ve been going they should have enough cities destroyed in no time!” Morgana chimed. “All we have to do now is be ready to go as soon as the portal can be activated.”

“Hey, where’s Dr. Maruki?!” Ryuji asked as they entered the portal chamber. “He was supposed to be down here figuring out how to work this thing. The hell’d he go?!”

“Listen up, everyone!” Futaba announced to all the Phantom Thieves and their allies. “Noir, Dr. Takemi and I have encountered one of Dimitry’s servants over here in the Middle-East. She appears to be one of Lavenza’s sisters that he brainwashed. We’re probably going to have to defeat her first if we want to proceed with our mission.”

“Damn, I should’ve known it wouldn’t be that easy,” Joker replied as he looked over the portal generator’s monitor. “Oracle, me and the rest of the guys are down inside Mt. Fuji,” he informed Futaba. “We’re ready to go, but we’re still going to need a lot more power to get this portal open.”

“I know. Sucks that we’ve gotta deal with yet another distraction. She’s giving off a strong reading, but I think if all of the Phantom Thief ladies come over here and fight her together, there’s a good chance we can beat her.”

“Oh, I’m afraid it’s not just me you’ll be contending with,” Elizabeth responded.

“Greetings,” Margaret said as she suddenly appeared in Eastern Europe and approached Makoto, Sae, and Eiko.

“Margaret!” Sae and Eiko both exclaimed simultaneously.

“I don’t doubt Elizabeth could handle all of you by herself, but if you foolishly insist on challenging us, I wouldn’t mind getting in a bit of exercise.”

“Oh man, who is… The other sister’s here too?!” Futaba responded as her system alerted her to Margaret’s presence, and yet another a few seconds later. “Wait! Now I’m picking up a third reading! It must be…”

Over in Japan, a huge foot emerged from the darkness and descended on the outskirts of Sendai, one of the few cities in the country yet to be destroyed. A bright light from the gigantic being suddenly illuminated the sky above the southern half of Japan, where Sumire and her coach were standing.

“Huh? Where is that light coming from?!” Hiraguchi asked as she and Sumire partially covered their eyes to shield them from the blinding gleam.

“A flashlight, genius!” a woman’s voice answered. “How else am I supposed to see anything over here where it’s nighttime? Dumbassstupididiotmoron!”
